Sean Quellos
Sean Quellos currently serves as the Forensic Lab Manager and a Senior Digital Forensics Examiner at Digital Forensics Corporation. He is a highly efficient and diligent digital forensics examiner with a comprehensive understanding of hardware, software, and device acquisition, managing the full lifecycle from data acquisition and recovery to investigation and report production.
In his role, Sean maintains a high level of expertise and dedication to digital forensic examination, including performing forensic analysis, acquisition, and processing various types of digital media, devices, and hardware for a diverse clientele. He provides strategic direction, leadership, and operational development for the Forensic Examination team, practicing a hands-on approach with a focus on delivering forensically sound and authentic digital evidence. Sean also ensures regular compliance diligence to keep all tools and software up-to-date and functioning as designed, and utilizes the latest technologies in software, hardware, and forensic techniques to meet the needs of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to government entities and private citizens. Sean's experience includes court-ordered acquisitions, where he has demonstrated his ability to restore client data under legal directives and verify critical information for discovery purposes. He has also assisted the Department of Justice with the acquisition and processing of digital evidence. As an expert witness, Sean has issued hundreds of affidavits attesting to digital forensic findings and has provided testimony in numerous court cases.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Forensics and Digital Investigations from Champlain College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is proficient in a wide range of forensic utilities, including Cellebrite UFED4PC, Magnet Axiom, Oxygen Forensics, Forensic Tool Kit, and EnCase.
Sean is skilled in leading high-performance forensic acquisitions, managing teams, and providing consultation and training in digital forensics to various clients, including law enforcement agencies, law firms, corporations, and high-profile individuals.
