by Igor Mikhaylov2017-06-18

Mobile phones have become an important tool in the fight against crime and criminal investigation. However, many mobile forensics investigators face difficulties with the investigation process in their domain. This is due to the fact that there are dispersed dispersions and dispersed dispersions.
At the same time, the rapid change in the technology of mobile phones has provided opportunities for criminal activities. The purpose of extracting digital evidence from mobile devices is to use it in court proceedings.

In the “A metamodel for mobile forensics investigation domain”, the authors use a metamodeling approach to identify the common concepts of the MF domain. This approach has been promoted by the efforts of the Object Management Group (OMG) to create interoperable, reusable and components. Through this approach the authers developed the metamodel for MF. For the development of MFM, the metamodeling process was used 8-step.

The following aspects are popularly told:
1. Identification of common phases of domain
2. Model collection and classification
3. The concept of extraction
4. Selection and identification of common concepts
5. Short-listing and reconciliation of definitions
6. Classification of common concept
7. Contact us
8. Metamodel validation

In conclusion, I would like to note that the issues and challenges of mobile forensics have been presented and discussed through this paper. Based on these observations, the lack of knowledge management in the field of mobile criminology led to certain problems in this area.
